Google caught testing iPhone X like Gestures on the Android P

Google has earlier presented the Android P developer preview which includes some of the new features offered by the Android P. You should keep in mind that it is still in the development phase. The developer preview only gives us an idea that how Android P will gonna work, it is not the final build. In case you forgot Apple has earlier introduced a new way to navigate in its iPhone X and it is the gesture-based control. Gestures enable a user to navigate between different screens in an easy and practical way. In recent Google has accidentally disclosed the new way to navigate in the Android developer blog. After realizing they just removed it, the biggest revolution it brings is the omission of multi-tasking button.

Currently, this navigation feature from Google is in the testing phase and is expected to roll out in the official Android P update. The home button icon now possesses a pill like structure which kinda put us in a confusion. It might be used to open the multitasking screen by making a swipe up gesture. The back button is still retained which according to 9to5Google will appear in the required situations, the back button may get hidden when not in use. All-together the navigation icons are looking much smaller than the regular ones. It smells like Google is cooking something hot in their kitchen and the recently seen demo was the support for Notch which has happened for the first time.

A few days back an image leaks out on the internet and was showing the alleged Moto X5. The image houses the same navigation controls which increase the possibility of this feature to come coupled with the latest Android P. Somewhat similar gestures has been implemented by the OnePlus in its OnePlus 5T handset earlier.
