Google Pixel 4 renders leak reveal controversial design

The Pixel 4 series which is set to debut in October leaks for the very first time in renders. The renders leak reveals a controversial design because of its striking similarity with the iPhone 11/XI renders leak. Google Pixel 4 will breathe a new design to the series if this renders leak based on early schematics is thought to be true.

Google Pixel lineup of smartphones is better known for its camera and the software. The latest in the series was just launched at Google IO 2019. However, those devices known as Pixel 3A and Pixel 3A XL are the lite/budget variants of the original Pixel 3 duo. The successor to the Pixel 3 series will likely be announced in October as usual.

The Pixel 4 renders leak reveals some of the biggest changes coming to the series. There will be no rear fingerprint sensor as it will be moved under the display like the Galaxy S10 series and others. However, it is not sure whether it will be optical or ultrasonic. Another major change will be the removal of front-facing speakers to achieve a higher screen to body ratio. The speaker grills will be located on either side of the USB type-C port at the bottom as per the leaked renders.

The major change of all for the Pixel series will be the introduction of multiple rear cameras. But it will also bring a camera bump to the series which was never the case since the first generation. Other than that, the camera bump design looks a lot like that of Apple’s next iPhones. This will definitely lead to huge controversies among Android especially Pixel and Apple fans. The bathtub notch on the Pixel 3 XL is still a controversial topic and the 2019 Pixel 4 design similarity with iPhone 11/XI will take it to the next level.

The forthcoming Pixel 4 series is also expected to feature some kind of notch (again). Though the headphone jack returned in the Pixel 3A series, it will not be the case for Pixel 4 series. Another interesting thing is, though Pixel 4 is somewhat confirmed to arrive with multiple cameras, it is not still sure how many. All we can do is wait for the next leak and eventually the unveiling of the Pixel 4 in October to know more about the device.
