The renders reveal the smartphone’s design, which is similar to that of the Pixel 7 series. It gets the same camera visor as Pixel 7 with dual cutouts for cameras and another for LED flash. The camera cutouts are oval, with the flash sitting adjacent. The upcoming Pixel 7A will have a dimension of 152.4 x 72.9 x 9.0mm (10.1mm with the camera bump). The dimensions are similar to the existing Pixel 6A, i.e., it has a dimension of 152.2 x 71.8 x 8.9 mm. It tells us that the display size of the upcoming Pixel 7A will be similar to that of the Pixel 6A.
The upcoming device will have a slim bezel all around the display but with a relatively thicker chin. On the front, it will sport a punch-hole for the front camera. Both power and volume rockers are seen on the right. The left side is empty except for the sim tray. The speaker and USB type C port are on the bottom, along with the primary microphone.Â
It was rumoured to feature a 3.5mm headphone jack, but it can’t be seen in the renders. The upcoming Pixel will come in two color options: White and Dark Grey. By now, you must have understood that one may need help in distinguishing between Pixel 7A and Pixel 7.
Google Pixel 7A rumoured specifications!
It will feature an FHD+ display like the Pixel 6A but with a higher rate, i.e., 90Hz. The lack of a higher refresh rate display was one of the significant drawbacks of 6A. It may feature the Sony IMX787 and IMX712 sensors on the rear. The smartphone will sport a Tensor G2 chipset like other Google smartphones. It will also sport a fingerprint scanner under the display.Â
Another thing that it will sport is wireless charging which the 6A lacks. However, Google will limit its charging speed to 5W. Rumours also suggest that it will feature support for Bluetooth LE. It will likely launch by Q1 or Q2 of 2023 since the Amazon page already went live. Â
