Google Play credits can be used on Newsstand subscriptions now

Google Play credit or balance can be used for apps, games, movies, books and even in-app purchases. But, now it can be even used for Google Play Newsstand subscriptions. But, there’s a catch as it is not available in any of the European Union countries and is restricted to a limited number of countries in the beginning.

Google Play credit is the easiest and fastest way to make purchases on the Play Store. Even users can earn these credits by simply responding to surveys on the Google Play Opinion Rewards app which is however limited to certain countries. As of now, Google Play Credits can be used in more than 40 countries for apps, games, and others as mentioned earlier. But, from now as it can be even used for Google Play Newsstand subscriptions in these countries minus the members of European Union.

In case you are not aware of, Google Play Newsstand offers a number of Magazines and News sources. It is good to know that Google has increased the value of Google Play credit to use it for the Play Newsstand subscriptions. Which makes Play credit now being applicable to almost everything that is available in the Play Store.
