Days back, the Honor X10 and 20S have acquired the February 2021 security patch update. Now, the Honor Play 9A becomes the latest device to join the list. Identified by the software version, 220.127.116.11 is currently rolling out in China.
Forthcoming to the update, the changelog doesn’t reveal the changes included in this update. However, like the other updates, it consists of 2 Criticalfixes, 26 High levels, and 77 Medium levels of CVE’s. Apart from these, we don’t have much information about the update. This is a regular security update that is pushed to increase the system’s performance and the smartphone’s security level.
Honor Play 9A can see a notification if the update reaches their device. Also, keep in mind that the update is following the phased rollout, and it is expected o arrive on all units in a week. You can check the update manually by making a beeline to Settings>Software updates. The update can also be checked from the Support app. To do this, open the app and head to Services >> Update >> Check for updates.
