OnePlus Nord N100 receives a new OxygenOS update with February Security Patch


OnePlus Nord N100 is a Budget Segment OnePlus device that comes with a Snapdragon 460, a 6.52-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 5000mAh battery. The device comes in 4GB RAM + 64 GB UFS 2.1 storage and a rear fingerprint sensor for security purposes.

The device keeps getting updates on a regular interval, and today it has received the February security patch. The device is getting OxygenOS 10.5.8 (EU) and 10.5.6(NA) in the respective regions. However, the device is still running Android 10.

Meanwhile, other OnePlus devices have started receiving Android 11 Updates. OnePlus has confirmed that the Device will receive only a single major Android update which we can expect later this year.

The update brings some Minor optimization in System. However, there are no major changes to the UI. This update has fixed some minor known issues and optimized standby power consumption in some scenarios. Also, it updates the security patch to 2021.02. OTA update has started rolling out for the device and will be available to all the units in a few days.
