HTC Desire U Lands In Taiwan



HTC has announced new smartphone named HTC Desire U in Taiwan Market. Its an entry level Android Device for its home country. Its a classy device with rounded corners and circle plate on the back side of the phone.

Desire U is mid range device as already mentioned above. It is packed with Android 4.0 Ice ream Sandwich, HTC Sense, powered by a single core 1GHz processor, 512 MB RAM, internal 4 GB and you can also expand it upto 32 GB via microSD slot card. Device also consists 4-inch WVGA display with 480×800 resolution support, 5 megapixel color camera, autofocus with LED flash, all connectivity oprions like WiFi, Bluetooth, micro USB and 3.5 mm Audio Jack. TO boost all above features wit is packed with 1650 mAh battery.

HTC Desire U support frequencies: 900 and 2100 MHz HSPA along with 900, 1800 and 1900MHz GPRS/EDGE.

Chughwa Telecom has revealed that it is targeting mainly students and first-time smartphone buyers with Desire U.

Currently there’s no detail regarding its availability in China and Taiwan or if a tweaked version with international-friendly radios will make its way to other countries.
