HTC One A9 Starts Receiving Android Nougat Update in India


After long wait HTC finally starts rolling out Android Nougat on its HTC One A9 in India. HTC One A9 is already gets the Nougat update in US and Europe last month. In India the update comes with the software build number 2.18.707.1 which includes  Nougat and latest security patch in it.


The update weighs around 1 GB in size and includes all the goodies of Android 7.0 Nougat. Which includes New Multi-window allows the user to switch between apps with a double tap or run two apps side by side. More personalized settings and smarter notifications allow users to be more productive with less effort. It also includes the enhanced version of Doze.

The update is rolling out in phases, so don’t panic if the update notification not appeared right away. It will reach your device in a couple of days time. Meanwhile you can always check it manually by going through you phone’s setting>>about phone>>software updates.

However, we recommends you that you should charge your phone up to 50% at least before installing the update on your HTC One A9
