The Huawei Mate 20X 5G is rumoured to launch in the Q2 of 2019. It surfaced in a hands-on video on Youtube Channel – Zing Gadget, showcasing the phone from all angles. Besides the 5G logo, there’s no difference between the standard Huawei Mate 20X and the 5G version.
Moreover, the new Huawei Mate 20X 5G smartphone will be using the Huawei Balong 5000 modem along the Huawei’s HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC. It is somewhat bigger in size and requires more physical space in comparison with Mate 20 X. The battery on the Mate 20 X 5G has been reduced to 4,200 mAh from the standard 5,000mAH in the 4G version. It supports 4.6 Gbps download speed and 2.5Gbps upload speed on Sub-6GHz spectrum.
