Huawei, the Chinese OEM is growing on a rapid pace and have already reached the third position in the Q2 2017 reports for most shipped smartphones. While Huawei is tasting success around the globe, it has not yet made a mark in the US Market. Even though the Nexus 6P by Huawei was a huge success, Huawei’s own flagship smartphones do not have a big market in the US.
To solve this, Huawei have decided to pair with AT&T, one of the four major mobile carriers in the US to exclusively sell its next flagship device. This move of Huawei could increase the sales of Huawei smartphone in the US markets. Mainly, because carrier specific phones are sold well then unlocked variants as they come with interesting plans and offers.
Huawei will reportedly launch its AT&T Exclusive flagship device in 2018 and it is expected to be the Huawei Mate 10. However, whether or not Huawei would release an unlocked variant of this flagship device is not confirmed yet.
So, if you want to get your hands on Huawei’s upcoming flagship, then you have to be an AT&T user.
