Intel Announced Compute Stick HDMI Dongle and Broadwell NUC Refresh at CES 2015

At CES 2015, Intel unveils its four inch long HDMI Dongle. This dongle can be plugged into any HDMI port to provide users a PC friendly experience and is suitable for Home and business use. As per their needs, users can plug it in TV for web streaming and such common low power consumption processes.

Not much information is available from the company yet but this device is powered with quad-core Intel Atom processor. Device will have 2 GB RAM and an flash storage of 32 GB. This model will run on Windows 8.1 and will be available for $149. Date and month for launch is yet not announced by the company. Another model for the same will be available with 1 GB RAM and 8GB storage and will run on Linux system rather than windows. This model is expected to be launched at $89 later in the year.

Other features supported by both these models are built in wireless communications encompassing modern Wi-Fi and Bluetooth standards, one full-sized USB port and a microSD card slot.

In CES 2015 held in Las Vegas, Intel also showed some refreshed mini PC’s under itd NUC( Next Unit Of Computing) line. These refreshed models are smaller in size as compared to earlier Haswell models. Models have been  refreshed with fast M.2 SSDs . Other details for the models are Still not announced by the company.
