LG reveals Software update plan for Q4 2020 along with eligible devices [List]

LG is a bit backed in providing software & security updates compared to all the other smartphone brands. To recall, Google has officially released the Android 11 version in the last month, and already many of the smartphones have started experiencing the update. So far, number of the LG mobiles have got the Android 11 updates, and they are still running on the Android 10 versions.

A couple of hours back, LG has shared an official update schedule with a list of devices for the fourth quarter of 2020. As per the release note, LG V50S, LG Q70, and LG X6 (2019) will be getting the performance updates that include bug fixes, improvements, and optimizations.
In addition to the update schedule, the company has released the list of devices eligible for the September 2020 Security patch update. The list of devices includes LG Wing, Q8 (2018), X4 (2019), V50 ThinQ, V50S ThinQ, LG Q61, LG G7 ThinQ, and many more devices. According to the release note, the devices mentioned above are expected to receive the updates in the coming days with a Security patch and other changes.
