Samsung is rolling out May’s Android Security Patch on Samsung Galaxy A5 2017. Recently Galaxy A5 2017 gets the Android 7.0 NOugat in India. Now the security patch update is coming software build number A520FXXU1AQE2.
The update weighs 155 MB in size and includes May Security Patch. IT contains 54 fixes that have been released this month by Google, and 11 pieces of Samsung itself. After updating confirms Software Info screen that the patch date is May 1st. There is not any other feature added to the device with this update.
Currently the update is rolling out in Europe. However, it will be rolling out in other markets very soon. Anyhow we recommends you to charge your phone up to 50 % before installing the update. if you are in Europe and the update notification is not popped up on your phone.
