The Moto 360 is receiving Google’s Wear OS update with a few changes in it. It is a major update for the branded watch after its launch. Moto 360 H-MR2 update includes performance improvements, a simplified pairing process, better LTE support, et cetera.

Google came up with the Wear OS H-MR2 update in September and Moto 360 is the first smartwatch to receive it. Several other brands like Oppo had to stop rolling out the H-MR2 update after some bugs surfaced.

Wear OS updates are rolled out through Google Play Services or Google Play Store if it runs Android Wear 2.0. The H-MR2 update for Moto 360 is available via the same process for Moto 360. However, the only noticeable change till now is the voice assistant control. The ‘Hey Google’ command works well with the watch. Other than that, there are no such changes in its working as of now.

eBuyNow is planning to release new Motorola smartwatches sometime this year and among them at least one model will pack Snapdragon Wear 4100 chipset. The new update is rolling out to the owners and we hope this turns out to a bug-free update.
