Motorola starts rolling out December Security Patch to its Moto G5S Plus

Moto G5S which was launched in 2017 along with Moto G5S Plus. Now starts getting Android security Patch for the month of December 2018. The last update for the device was October security patch. Coming back the latest OTA update with December security patch features a new build number OPSS28.65-36-6.

Moto G5S-Plus December 2018 Security PatchThe update is still based on Android 8.1 Oreo, Along with the security patch, the update packs with general bug fixes and some improvements in the phone’s performance. The OTA update is rolled out in almost every market including India.

Users of Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus will also get the update very soon. As this is an OTA update it might take some time to reach each and every user out there. So don’t panic the update notification doesn’t pop up on your phone’s display. You can also check it manually by going through the settings >> about the phone >> software updates.

Do charge your phone upto at least 50% before starts installing the update.  Also make sure your phone’s runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with August security patch before installing the update.
