With different price tags and different specifications, you may face bizzare in sorting out their differences. However, the Moto G6 is the powerful among them with Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 on-board. On the contrary, the Moto Play the least powerful or feature-packed. However, each one of them runs the Android Oreo 8.0. Let’s briefly look what these devices bring to the table.

Moto G6

The powerful Moto G6 be first: It comes as a successor to the yesteryear’s Moto G5, but with a slightly downgraded Mobile Platform though. Unlike its Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 powered predecessor, the Moto G6 emerges with Snapdragon 450.

However there is only up-gradation in its pricing though Motorola has gone for a downgraded SoC this time. The Moto G6 is listed for $249 in U.S. making it dearer than the both Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus.

If you’re looking for an upgraded features, here are they. Luckily, Moto G6 has a 5.7-inch, 2160×1080(FHD+) LCD display with the trendy 18:9 aspect ratio. The device will feel compact and comfortable on your palm, thanks to the reduced top and bottom bezels.

In general, the Moto G6 will be available in two variants, i.e. 3/32GB or 4/64GB storage options. A 3000mAh battery fuels the device. Dual camera setup of 12+5MP resides on the back and an 8MP on the front.

Moto G6 Play

Cheaper and trimmed version of the Moto G6. The Moto G6 Play boards Qualcomm Snapdragon 427 Mobile Platform. Flaunts the same 5.7-inch 18:9 LCD display, but only of HD+ in resolution.motorola unveils moto g6 and moto e5 2018 series

The device will be available in two storage options: 2/16GB and 3/32GB of storage. A lone 13MP camera sits on the rear and 8MP front camera for selfies. The department where the Moto G6 Play outshine the Moto G6 is in battery capacity. It’s got decent 4000mAH battery for keeping the lights-on for couple of days.

Moto E5 Plus and E5 Play

Moto E devices have the history of packing the mediocre MediaTek chipsets. But not anymore it seems. At its heart of the Moto E5 Plus, lies the Snapdragon 435. While the Moto E5 Play may have either the Snapdragon 427 or Snapdragon 425 SoC.motorola unveils moto g6 and moto e5 2018 series

The Moto E5 Plus packs a large 6-inch display of FHD+(1440×720) resolution. The 18:9 aspect ratio is there thankfully. Only one variant of the E5 Plus is available with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of primary storage. An 8MP front camera, and a 12MP rear camera is not that much bad. As a plus point, the E5 Plus has a mammoth 5000 mAh battery.

Speaking of the weak-chain among the quads: E5 Play possess a 5.2-inch “HD” LCD display. Sadly, Motorola is not offering the 18:9 ratio and opted the good-old 16:9 for the device. The device comes with 2GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. A battery of 2,800 mAH medium capacity provides the juice for the device. For photography, an 8MP primary sensor and a 5MP front sensor is what the E5 Play have to offer us.
