Almost a year ago Digg was a perfect place to find the trending news around, but then Reddit came and flushed Digg. But now things have been changing, the whole site has been changed and also an iOS App was released with it.

So and here comes the Android, they have now released an dedicated app for Android platform. And for the interest the app is not just a port of the iOS app. The app is available on Play Store for free, and has the same minimalistic basic design as the website with white and black design and interface. The stories appear in vertical columns and you can click on them to read them. But there is one plus point as compared to website, when you click to read the full story the whole new page does not load, infact the full story would appear there itself.

You sign in to app and select the type of articles you want in your feed. You also have a option to connect through Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ to read the posts and article you read. Also there is an bookmarking option to save the article so that you can read them later, also there is an like button to like the stories you read.
