Nexus 7 (2012) And Nexus 4 Will Get Android 5.0 Lollipop

Nexus 7 {2012) and Nexus 4 both devices are couple of years old and are out of the Google’s 18 months update policy to Nexus devices. But the folks over the Google is going to rollout the Android 5.0 Lollipop to the Nexus 7 (2012) model and Nexus 4.

It seems that Google is trying to keep the folks happy by providing the the luxuries of the Android 5.0 Lollipop. So now total of five Nexus devices – Nexus 4, the Nexus 5, the 2013 Nexus 7, Nexus 7 2012 and the Nexus 10 will get the Android 5.0 Lollipop. According to Googler Sascha Prüter, the omission was an error, and sure enough the post has now been updated to reflect that change.

The line in question now reads:

Android 5.0 Lollipop, which comes on Nexus 6, Nexus 9 and Nexus Player, will also be available on Nexus 4, 5, 7, 10 and Google Play edition devices in the coming weeks.
