One of the standout features of the Nothing Ear(2) is the LHDC 5.0 audio codec, which allows for Hi-Res audio streaming. The earbuds also come with a new personalized sound profile that enables users to calibrate the earbuds to their specific hearing after taking a quick test in the Nothing X companion app. Users can also tweak the equalizer settings to their liking from the app.

Nothing Ear(2) also offer adaptive active noise cancellation, which tunes out unwanted noises based on the user’s specific ear profile and surroundings. The 11.6 mm drivers have been updated with a new diaphragm unit made with graphene and polyurethane materials. Voice pickup has also been reworked with improved wind-proofing that should be better at isolating the user’s voice in tough environments. The earbuds also support the dual pairing.
