OnePlus pushes Android 10 based OxygenOS 10.0 on OnePlus 7/7Pro


Huge round of applause for OnePlus for its consistency in major update regime. Infact, OnePlus has never let down the users atleast when it comes to roll-out of the major updates. This time it’s no different with the company officially pushing the latest Android 10 to its latest devices, the OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro.

OnePlus through its official forum has happily announced that it’s ready for airing the stable OxygenOS 10.0 for a bunch of users initially. As you’d expect from Android 10, the update brings all the bells and whistles which Google backed in its latest version of Android. Moreover, OnePlus has its own additions over the Android 10 making it the OxygenOS 10.0 which most of them out there have been eagerly waiting.

As per the OnePlus forum, the stable OxygenOS 10.0 update for the OnePlus 7/7Pro brings out all these goodies.

    • Upgraded to Android 10
    • Brand new UI design
    • Enhanced location permissions for privacy
    • New customization feature in Settings allowing you to choose icon shapes to be displayed in the Quick Settings
  • Full Screen Gestures
    • Added inward swipes from the left or right edge of the screen to go back
    • Added a bottom navigation bar to allow switching left or right for recent apps
  • Game Space
    • New Game Space feature now joins all your favorite games in one place for easier access and better gaming experience
  • Smart display
    • Intelligent info based on specific times, locations and events for Ambient Display (Settings – Display – Ambient Display – Smart Display)
  • Message
    • Now possible to block spam by keywords for Message (Messages – Spam – Settings -Blocking settings)
