Realme GT Neo 5 listed on TENAA & 3C ahead of February launch

Yesterday, Realme introduced the 240W fast charging, which would debut with Realme GT Neo 5 smartphone. Ahead of the scheduled launch of GT Neo 5 in February, it now pop-up on TENAA and 3C listings. There were rumors that the device could launch in two different variants. In 3C, it lists two variants of the Neo 5 smartphone; the RMX3708 will support 240W fast charging with a 4000mAh battery. In contrast, the RMX3706 would sport a 5000mAh battery with 150W fast charging. The 150W charger has the model number VCK8HACH. The global launch schedule of the smartphone is unknown at the moment.

Similarly, the two different variants have been listed in TENAA. The listing of RMX3706 matches the previously leaked renders of the smartphone. It reveals a punch hole in the center of the display.

On the rear, it has a camera layout similar to the Realme 10 Pro+ smartphone. In comparison, the Realme GT Neo 5 will feature a rectangular block for the cameras. The block will sport two camera rings with an LED flash strip. The power button is on the right, and the left houses the volume rockers.

The 240W variant, i.e., RMX3708, has a different camera layout. It has a squarish layout instead of the rectangular one on the 150W variant. Other design elements like the power button, volume rockers, and punch-hole sit the same as the 150W variant.

The rumors suggest that Realme GT Neo 5 would feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of 144Hz. Underneath, it would feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen Plus one chipset with 8/12/16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256/512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

On the optics side, it may feature a 50MP Sony IMX 890 sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, it would feature BBK group’s favorite 16MP sensor. It would run on realme UI 4.0 on top of Android 13 out of the box.

Since the smartphone is the first to feature 240W fast charging technology, Realme equips 13 built-in temperature sensors with PS3 fireproof design. It has the largest 6580mm² graphene phase heat dissipation material with a real-time safety monitoring system.
