Samsung Android GO Phone gets the Wifi Certification

Samsung is gearing up for the launch of its first Android GO Phone. The phone appears on several benchmarking websites earlier. Now Samsung Android GO Phone gets the Wifi Certification. As we all know Samsung is going to launch its flagship device Galaxy Note 9 on 9th of August. So the company might launch Android Go Phone before Note 9.

According to the certification, Samsung Android GO Phone with model no. SM-J260G/DS packs with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity. The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. Recently there were some leaks which suggests that Samsung’s Android GO phone will not run on Stock Android.

According to various leaks and reports, Samsung Android GO Phone is powered by a 1.4GHz Exynos 7570 chipset. It pairs with 1 GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage which can also be expandable via microSD card. Device features a 5 inch AMOLED display and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. It packs with 8MP primary camera with an LED flash and a 5MP selfie camera. The phone is backed up by 2600 mAh battery.
