Samsung is all set to launch the Galaxy A8s in China today, marking the dawn of a new era of hole-punched smartphones. The device to feature Samsung’s Infinty-O display has been on the limelight ever since it’s tipped during the Galaxy A6s launch that happened a month ago. Within a couple of hours, the Galaxy A8s is going to be unveiled and let’s see what magic Samsung has done on the device.
In case if you’re wondering how to watch the launch event live, Samsung in a post on its Weibo page on Sunday revealed the time of the Galaxy A8s launch, and how to catch the live stream. Accordingly, the Samsung Galaxy A8s live stream will kick-off at 4 pm CST (1:30 pm IST). Folks can watch the live stream on the Samsung China site or on the Galaxy Club site.

Apart from featuring a first-time adoption technology, that is Infinity-O display the Galaxy A8s is speculated to be a flagship mid-range phone. Recent leaks suggest of the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 Mobile Platform at its heart, and a massive 6GB RAM coupled with 128GB of primary storage.
We can expect Samsung to pack all the goodies on the Galaxy A8s, but headphone jack. Sadly, it seems the device won’t be having the 3.5mm jack buddy. That said, the complete details regarding the device will be out in a couple of hours. Till then stay tuned.
