Samsung has launched a new device in its Galaxy J series. Today, Samsung launched Galaxy J2 – budget device in India for Rs. 8490. It is going to be available from September 21 and can be purchased from any retail outlet.
Samsung Galaxy J2 features a 4.7-inch qHD (540×960 pixels) Super Amoled display. The handset is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Exynos 3475 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It packs 8GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 128GB).
It consists a 2000mAh battery and sports a 5MP primary camera with LED flash and a 2MP secondary camera.
It comes courtesy of Samsung’s R&D facility in India and just like other important elements of the OS and its UI is specifically tailored for meet local needs and desires. Here’s what Mr. Asim Warsi, Vice President, Marketing, IT & Mobile at Samsung India:

The phone also features an Ultra Data Saving feature powered by Opera Max that lets users to allow and block individual apps from using mobile data and save data by enabling data optimization.
