In March 2022, Samsung officially launched the Galaxy M23 smartphone with Android 12 OS pre-installed. The phone features a 6.6-inch TFT LCD screen paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Under the hood, it powers an octa-core processor based on the Snapdragon 750G 5G SoC. In the shooting department, the phone houses a 50MP triple rear camera and an 8MP front snapper on the front.

- [October 16, 2023]: The One UI 6 beta program for the Galaxy M23 smartphone is now available to its users. The beta version of the custom UI will likely be prone to issues, bugs, inaccuracies, might make the device behave unexpectedly.
- [March 30, 2023]: The new upgrade is rolling in Asian markets for Galaxy M23 5G. The Galaxy M23 5G receives the new software with the M236BXXU2CWC1 firmware version.
- [December 16, 2022]: The Galaxy M23 5G is available with build number M236BXXU1BVK5. The Galaxy M23 5G is receiving a new update with December 222 security patch.
- [June 17, 2022]: The Galaxy M23 5G is receiving a new update with June 222 security patch. Arriving on the firmware version M236BXXU1AVF1, the build is rolling out in European countries. The other countries will also get the update in the coming days.
As always, the update is having a phase-wise rollout. Therefore, it may take some time to reach all the units. In the meantime, you can head to Settings > Software updates > Security updates to check the update manually. Also, we suggest you switch over to a WiFi network while flashing the update to avoid carrier data charges.
