At CES 2018, Samsung confirmed that they will be launching the Galaxy S9 / S9+ at the Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona. MWC will begin on 26th February and will end on 1st of March, hence the Galaxy S9 duo might get unveiled on any of those days. However, a new leak now confirms that the S9 duo will be launched on the first day of MWC itself.

The information regarding the launch of Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ comes from the popular leaker Evan Blass. He tweeted from his twitter handle that according to a C-level (lower level) executive at a major case maker, the Galaxy S9 duo will be launched on February 26. Also, he added that the pre orders for both the devices will go live on 1st of March. And the shipping for the same will begin on 16th March. Thus, now we have all the information regarding the upcoming Galaxy S9 / S9+ except for the price.

According to leaked specifications and rumours, the Galaxy S9 as well as Galaxy S9+ will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and Exynos 9810 processor based on the regions they will be sold. Other changes include the new fingerprint placement and improved cameras. The plus variant will also come with dual camera setup. Both the S9 / S9+ will also come with stereo speakers which is nice as speakers are the only let down thing on Samsung’s flagships.
