Samsung Galaxy S9 new renders confirm the smartphone’s final design

Samsung’s upcoming flagship, the Galaxy S9 has been leaking a lot for a while. Last week, we saw the 360° renders of the device and Geekbench listing couple of days back. And now, another set of renders from the case maker Ghostek confirms the final design of the Galaxy S9. The case maker even listed a case for the device as they are very confident about the design.

From the above renders, we can clearly see that the Galaxy S9 will retain the headphone jack unlike other smartphones. Kudos to Samsung for doing that but the infamous Bixby button returns and it doesn’t seem to go away very soon. Another improvement over the Galaxy S9 is the fingerprint sensor placement. The reader now sits comfortably below the camera module where user’s finger can reach easily without making smudges on the camera lens.

This another set of renders show the Galaxy S9 encased in a Ghostek Nautical waterproof case. Though the case seems to be bulky, it looks cool and will protect the glass sandwiched device from accidental falls. If you are planning to buy the Galaxy S9 when it gets launched, then you might want to check this case from Ghostek.

Under the hood, the device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 and Exynos 9810 based on the markets it will be sold. Also, it will come with 6GB of RAM which is now considered as a standard for flagships. Finally, the phone will run on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.
