Samsung is readying an Active version tablet for markets, new GFXBench listing shows. The device called Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 is a rugged tablet that was leaked by WinFuture previously. It is supposed to be an affordable tablet set to compete with other low-priced products in the same category.
The Galaxy Tab 2 Active will be a lot more strong on the spec sheet compared to its predecessor, the latest listing shows. The GFXBench listing says the tab will come with an 8-inch screen HD display with 1280 x 800-pixel resolution and a 1.5GHz Samsung Exynos 7870 octa-core processor. The rough and tough tablet will possess 3 GB of RAM coupled with 16 GB of onboard storage. In terms of camera, an 8 MP rear shooter with flash and autofocus is expected while a 5 MP selfie lens will also be there. It should also sport the usual Bluetooth Wi-Fi, NFC options.
Samsung will also equip the Tab Active 2 SM-T395 rugged device with a scratch resistant display, micro SD card slot, 4G LTE and Full HD video recording. The battery on the 8-incher is expected to be of 4,450 mAh capacity. More details on pricing and availability will be seen on launch dates.
