Sony rolling Android 7.1.1 update to Xperia X and X Compact


Sony has finally started to rollout the Android 7.1 Nougat update to the Xperia X and Xperia X Compact. This is the newer version of the Nougat which packs some more advanced features and refinements than Android 7.0.

Sony Xperia X and X Compact are already running on the Android 7.0 Nougat, this update brings major bug fixes and refinements. This also shows that Sony is taking care of the X series lineup.

The new update is rolling with the build version 34.3.A.0.194 on both the devices. Currently, company has not provided any official changelog but it is obvious that it is going to pack updations.

Sony Xperia X and X Compact is now rolling out and it may arrive on your device in few hours. You can also manually check for the update by heading to the Settings>> About menu of your device.

Also, we suggest you to charge your device up to 60% before proceeding. Also, switch to the WIFi networks to save some data cost on your carrier.
