Sony’s Latest Android Phone, Sony Xperia S has now started shipping globally. The Xperia S by Sony will have its final release date and pricing revealed by carriers and retailers, as soon as they become available. As it stands right now, the announcement didn’t reveal anything like that quite yet. Final pricing and availability will be determined by carrier partners.
The Xperia S features a dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon processor, 12MP camera, and 720p display, putting at the top of Sony’s early 2012 lineup. The phone will launch with Android 2.3. An upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich is expected in the coming weeks.
