Sprint Samsung Galaxy S5 and Galaxy A7 Gets the Security Updates

Samsung Galaxy S5 gets the March Android security patch on Sprint Network, Where as Galaxy A7 gets the February security patch. The Update comes with the build number G900PVPU3CPEI and A700FXXU2BQB1 respectively.

Samsung Galaxy S5 update weighs around 285MB in size. Galaxy A7 is currently getting update in Europe. It may only be a matter of time before the update goes live in other markets as well. Security patches includes android fixes and some improvements in performance.

The update is rolling out over the air if it doesn’t reach you. Wait for some time or manually check it by going through the Seetings>>about phone>>software update. However, before hitting the download button, one should ensure that their device is connected to a WiFi network and is sufficiently charged.
