Storyline – Nexus 6 Until Now

Nexus 6 is in news from last year just after the launch of the Nexus 5 device in November, Since then every month comes with new information about the device but from past couple of months the pace of rumors and reports about Nexus 6 has gained pace. The day of its official announcement is nearing if rumors to be believed.

Nexus 6 is expected to be a new smartphone from Google and it is developed by Motorola codenamed Shamu. As we already know the device is manufactured from Google by any OEM. Last year it was LG for Nexus 5 and this year Motorola is expected to be coming with Nexus 6. This is gonna be for the first time that Motorola is teaming up with Google to manufacture a Nexus device.

Motorola Nexus 6 is expected to be coming with 5.9-inch QHD (2560x1440p) resolution display. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor. The phone will also come with 3GB of RAM, 3200 mAh battery, and 16/ 32GB of internal storage. It shooter on rear side will consist 13 MP sensor and 2 MP on the front. 3MP rear camera with optical image stabilization and 2MP front shooter and it will run on Android L. In connectivity Nexus 6 will be equipped with Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 or 4.1, GPS and 4G LTE support.

Also many images and press renders have been leaked but until now no confirmation has been made.

Design wise it will be similar to Moto X 2014 from many angles but may differ in size and some curves. It has been rumored that it will be much similar to the Moto X 2 nd generation. Also there’s no confirmation about the sound system of the nexus 6 as if Motorola go by current Moto X 2014 speaker placement then speakers will be present on the front otherwise it will  take on the backside.

It is expected that Nexus 6, is going on sale starting November 3 and it is expected Google will retail it under $500.
