Ubuntu Officially Showed Off On Nexus 7

Earlier also we have seen videos of Ubuntu running on some android phones but this time its official on Nexus 7. In video below you will see Ubuntu 13.04 running on Nexus 7. From Ubuntu 13.04 onwards, one will see Canonical devote more time as well as resources in order to measure the ‘core platform’ function against ‘mobile metrics’ including battery life, memory consumption, and the likes. The start of the work looks to be right around the corner as Shuttlesworth told developers attending the Ubuntu Developer Summit (UDS) in Copenhagen Denmark next week to bring their Nexus 7s, because Google’s tablet is apparently a great “reference” device for the project.
