Verizon rolling Android 7.1.2 Nougat update to Pixel Devices

Finally, the wait is over as Verizon has started to rollout the Android 7.1.2 update to the Pixel devices. Recently, just few days ago Google released the Android 7.1.2 Nougat to Pixel and Nexus Devices. This time Verizon seems to be winning the race of rolling the update first (other than Google itself) to Pixel devices.

The update include April Security Update along with many bug fixes and improvements. Verizon has also rolled the same update but they have included some of their own stuff to the update. Verizon firmware number stands at NHG47K, while Google has something different for their Pixel and Pixel XL devices.

Verizon packed update with better performance and connectivity for Bluetooth and Wifi. Further there are many new refinements like ability to backup and restore 1st party apps like Calendar, Drive, and Messenger. Even voice calls performance has been boosted along with HD calling WiFi calling.

Switch to the WiFi network and charge your device before proceeding for the download.
