Whatsapp update allows sharing files of all types on Android and iOS


Whatsapp has finally rolled out an update to bring in the feature to share all types of files via the social chat app. It allows you to share the file that is present in any type of format via Whatsapp chats.

The new feature will allow you to share the files that are under the size of 100MB. Since today, you will get all the support to share all the file types including docx, pdf, ppt, pptx, rtf, txt, xls, xlsx, etc via Whatsapp.

The new feature allows you to send some high end pictures to the receivers.The feature is also available on iOS with a file limit of 128 MB. You can even share the files via Web interface of Whatsapp, but the size limit has been reduced to 64 MB only.

Currently, the update is rolling out to only few users, you need to be lucky if you want it. Whatsapp is randomly issuing the update for the new sharing feature.

Some users on Twitter has already started tweeting about the new features.

Recently, an app update lets you add filter to your photos ans many other improvements have been added. Even, WhatsApp has been fined over $3 Million for Facebook Data Sharing in Italy.
