Wikipedia for Android has just received an update with little changes. It has boright link preview feature to the latest version. Updated app is now available from the Play Store link below.
Primarily, the update brings an article preview pop-up whenever you click a link in an article. In exact it will brings pullover to show you the clicked link just like the new Google Chrome for Android feature of marking the text to find meaning of that work or get search results.
Another new feature that will make your researching easier is tabbed browsing. Instead of clicking the link and leaving the page, you can now just open it in another tab. Just long press the link and it will automatically open in a new tab.
Wikimedia foundation quoted that they are going to provide similar features to the iOS app and they are exploring mobile web for better experience.
