Xiaomi is planning to extend the Xiaomi 12 lineup with the T-mobile variants. Reportedly, the Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro are in the works and can soon unveil in the global markets. However, the company has not made any official announcement yet. In the meantime, the specifications and key details of the vanilla Xiaomi 12T have managed to leak online. Xiaomi 12T series is running around the rumor mills for some time now. The smartphones can soon hit the market as a premium offering by the company. According to the rumors, the vanilla model will offer a 120Hz OLED display with a screen resolution of 1220 x 2712 pixels. Also, it is tipped to carry an in-display fingerprint scanner as well.
Under the hood, the Xiaomi 12T is likely to draw power from the Dimensity 8100 Ultra SoC. Although the specifics of the chipset remain unknown, it can be an improved version of the Dimensity 8100 Max.
In terms of optics, the handset is suggested to offer a triple-camera setup at the back. The module can consist of a 108MP primary unit, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. At the front, a 20MP lens can serve selfies and video calls.
In addition, the leaks claim that the phone will pack a 5,000 mAh battery with 67W or 120W fast charging support. At the time of writing, this is all we have about the Xiaomi 12T in our hands.
