Xiaomi Mi 9 with SDM855 and 12 GB RAM attains highest score on Master Lu


Xiaomi is on the final preparations to launch of its next Mi flagship – the Mi 9 on 20th February. To keep up the hype revolving around the device, the Chinese firm has been steadily teasing certain wow-factors of the device so far. Now, the device has gone through one of the benchmarking platform of China, the Master Lu. Interestingly enough, literally registering the highest score ever on this platform.

The Xiaomi Mi 9 which hit the Master Lu boards a whopping 12GB of RAM bolstered by the latest and powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 based on 7nm node. It’s also a confirmation that the 12GB variant of the device exists. The upcoming flagship has recorded an overall benchmark score of 409,889, which is the highest ever on the Master Lu.

Here are certain isolated tests results of the Mi 9 on the Master Lu. In the CPU and GPU department, the Xiaomi Mi 9 achieved 158,234 and 154,071 scores respectively. While in the RAM and storage tests the handset hit 55,250 and 42,334 scores respectively. Overall, attaining the Master Lu score beyond 400K which is insane.

The Xiaomi Mi 9 listed on the Master Lu shows that it is running on Android 9 Pie OS. Moreover, the display is of Full HD+ resolution (1080 x 2340p) and has onboard storage of 256GB.

That said, it’s expected that the Xiaomi Mi 9 will have a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with the fastest optical in-display fingerprint scanner embedded on it. The handset features a triple camera setup on its rear with a real 48MP, Sony IMX586 main sensor. The waterdrop notch could house a 24MP Sony IMX576 front-facing camera. They’re gonna be an Explorer/Transparent Edition of the device.
