A day after the fruitful release of the Mi 11 Series, Xiaomi has immediately launched its first foldable smartphone, which is named Mi MIX Fold. The company has finally launched the device after two years since Xiaomi first teased a foldable device. The new Mi Mix Fold is going to be a good competitor to the Samsung’s Galaxy Fold 2 smartphone.
Interestingly, the Mi Mix Fold comes with two displays – one with a single outer screen and the other one with a folding inner display. The smartphone sports an 8.01-inch WQHD inner display with 2480 x 1860 pixels of resolution and a 4:3 aspect ratio. In terms of the camera, the Mi Mix Fold features a triple rear camera that includes 108MP primary sensor, a 13MP 123-degree FOV ultra-wide lens, and an 8MP’ liquid lens’ that works well with a 3x optical zoom lens and a macro lens as well. As said by Xiaomi, with the liquid lens, the object can be focused faster and offer better White Balance at a higher level. Unfortunately, there’s no front camera available for this device.
On the top, the device runs Android 11 out of the box. Moreover, it packs a 5,020 mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. Some of the other features consist of quad stereo speakers, a ‘butterfly’ cooling system, etc. Interestingly, the phone is 27% lighter as it uses a U-shaped hinge.
