Xiaomi Launches its budget Android phone Redmi S2 in Europe. Earlier last month it was launch in China and than in India. In India it was launched with the name Xiaomi Redmi Y2 with price tag of ₹9,999. Now in Europe it is priced at € 179, but Redmi S2 is not yet available to buy.Â
Xiaomi Redmi S2 features a a 5.99-inch HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It powers with Snapdragon 625 and Adreno 506 GPU. The phone pairs with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. Internal storage of the phone is also expandable up to 256 GB via MicroSD card. Redmi S2 packs with Dual rear camera with 12MP + 5MP sensors and 16 MP front sensor.
Redmi S2 is backed up by the 3,080 mAh battery and a fingerprint reader on the back. Redmi S2 runs on MIUI 9.5 which is based on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. Coming to the connectivity options, Phone includes 4G LTE with bands 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 20, 38, and 40. It is also packed with Card slot 2 + 1 which includes Dual SIM and a dedicated slot for memory card. It also packs with WiFi display, WiFi direct and WiFi 2.4G. Redmi S2 comes in Dark Grey, Gold, Rose Gold.
