Xiaomi to launch Xiaomi 13 Series, Watch S2, Buds 4, and MIUI 14 on December 1

The brand has announced the Xiaomi 13 series launch to end the numerous leaks on the upcoming devices. Xiaomi will unveil the Xiaomi 13 series in China on December 1, 2022. The event will start at 7 pm (4.30 pm IST) and announce the Watch S2, Buds 4, and MIUI 14 alongside the smartphones. The brand has shared the launch teaser, revealing a few things.

It tells us that the brand will feature Leica-branded camera sensors. Earlier, the same was leaked by a tipster. The poster also reveals that it will feature a flat-edge frame. It was earlier announced by case manufacturer AIUV Planet that it will feature a flat display and a flat-edge frame. 

The smartphone will sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Xiaomi’s CEO had revealed that it would feature a flat OLED panel with a 1.61mm narrow bezel on the top and sides. On the bottom, it will be 1.81mm and only be wide by 71.5mm. The CEO also shared official renders which confirm the support of IP68.

We have already covered the leaked specifications of the upcoming Xiaomi 13 series here. To recall, the Xiaomi 12X, Xiaomi 12, and Xiaomi 12 Pro were unveiled in December 2021. The forthcoming Xiaomi 13 series will make it to the international markets in the coming months.

There is no confirmation about the specifications of the Xiaomi Watch S2 and Xiaomi Buds 4, which are launching along with the smartphone. The upcoming MIUI 14 will bring significant UI changes and improve privacy and security features. It will also get support for Android 13 features.
