Xiaomi unveils USB Type-C Earphones

Xiaomi joined the league of smartphone manufacturers, that chose to ditch the traditional 3.5 mm jack for USB Type-C port with its latest flagship. In an earlier statement, the company clarified that the removal was to make space for a bigger battery. The launch of Mi 6 with USB Type-C port indicated that the company may soon introduce USB Type-C earphones for its flagship device.

Xiaomi has now officially unveiled its USB Type-C earphones. These earphones have been co-designed by Grammy Award-winner Luca Bignardi, a Spanish musician and sound engineer.
