Larry Page today revealed that 850,000 Android Devices are activated every day. In December, just before Christmas, Google Android chief Andy Rubin announced that Android has surpassed 700,000 daily activations. Google also announced that the Android Market is now home to 450,000 apps, a mere 50,000 shy of Apple’s iOS App Store, and more than 1 billion downloads are being served each month to over 300 million Android devices worldwide. The Google CEO also said that Android devices are being offered by 55 manufacturers and over In Addition Google Chrome browser has 200 million-plus users, and Gmail has over 350 million users, with more than 5,000 new businesses and educational establishments signing up each day.
