Asus 7 Inch MeMO Pad Tablet For $149

Asus has announced its 7 inch tablet for $149. Is it the Cheap Tablet version about which we were talking last year from Asus? After Archos launched Titanium Tablet Series at CES 2013, Asus has come up with this new low price 7 inch MeMo Pad Tablet.

Tablet is packed with a 1024 x 600 backlit LED display with 350-nit brightness at 170PPI. The MeMO Pad is powered by a 1GHz VIA WM8950 GPU and a Mali-400 CPU. ASUS brings a 4270mAh battery to the party with an estimated 7 hours of battery life, and 1GB of RAM. There’s also  option for 8GB or 16GB of storage, and 1-megapixel front-facing camera.

It includes some additional apps also like SuperNote Lite, ASUS Studio, and MyBitCast, but the tablet also comes with 5GB of free cloud storage with the ASUS WebStorage service.

7 inch MeMO pad is coming up in Sugar White, Titanium Gray, and Cherry Pink colors. It will ship with Android 4.1 at launch and will begin selling in April this year. Some Images:
