Asus ROG Phone ZS600KL starts receiving a new update with latest security patch

Asus ROG Phone ZS600KL which was launched back in 2018 starts receiving a new update. The update with the firmware version 16.0420.1911.6 based on Android P brings the latest security patch and some fixes for the device.

The update fixes the call drop issue on Bluetooth headset/ car kit, TwinView Dock could not be used issue is also fixed. Some other fixes for auto-rotate, lock screen wallpaper color issue, occasional system crash issue are also present in the latest update. ROG Phone ZS600KL update also enables TWM VoWiFi function.

The company says that the update is rolling out in batches and will reach every user within some days. The users need not panic if the update delays as it will take some time. To manually check the new update you may tap on the Settings >> System >> check updates.

As a reminder, Asus ROG Phone ZS600KL was launched back in 2018 with Snapdragon 845 SoC. The phone is paired with 8GB RAM and has two storage options i.e 128GB and 512 GB. It packs a dual rear camera setup consisting of 12MP main camera + 8MP ultrawide camera. On the front side, the phone has an 8MP camera for selfies. ROG Phone ZS600KL has a 4000 mAh battery with 30W Quick charging support.
