There is an additional fix for the UI display issue in the update. Last week, Asus rolled out a similar update for the global users. The latest update aims to fix the glitches and lags in the UI along with few other improvements.

Asus has been facing criticism for delaying Major Android updates to its devices. Users of Asus Zenfone 5 are waiting for the Android 10 stable update as the company rolled out the beta update weeks ago.

Android 10: What has happened so far?

It all started with the ROG Phone 2 when users received the stable Android 10 weeks after the beta rollout. Users of Asus Zenfone 5 complained about their devices getting left out of the Android 10 beta when compared to budget phones like Zenfone Max Pro M1 earlier this year. However, Asus did clarify that Zenfone 5 running on Zen UI needed more resources compared to stock UI on M1.

The device finally got the Android 10 beta in April and is currently running on a second beta version and users are waiting for the stable rollout. While Asus has not given an exact date, we can only speculate that the update might arrive later this year.
