Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 gets Android 10 treat

Initially launched in India and later expanded to other regions all around the globe, the Zenfone Max Pro M1 has been one of the best budget devices of 2018. Asus packed the device with decent specs and in tandem with the aggressive pricing strategy, the device performed well as expected. Nearly two years after its launch, the Taiwan firm is reviving the device with a brand new software in the form of Android 10.asus-zenfone-max-pro-m1-android-pie-update

In fact, the Android 10 is being rolled out to Zenfone Max Pro M1 users in India and France as a beta build. The update bears version 17.2017.1911.407 and is of 1.6GB in size.

It shouldn’t come surprise for those who knew Asus had promised two major upgrades for the Max Pro M1. The Android 10 marks its second major update following the Android Pie which was rolled out around April last year. Well, kudos to Asus for keeping its promise without any reluctance.

For the unversed, the Android 10 is a major privacy and security focused update in the history of Android. It also brings along many exciting changes in which the most hyped is a system-wide dark mode. Other features include, full-screen navigation gestures, Digital Wellbeing tools with Focus Mode and parental controls, more control over app permissions, Live Captions and much more.

The Android 10 OTA beta build is available for download. So those who’re restless to try out before the stable is out can flash the zip and enjoy the Android 10. Watch out of bugs nonetheless.
