Yesterday, Huawei announced the Mate 10 series touting AI capabilities and incredible cameras and today they took wraps off the Mate 10 lite. To recall, Huawei announced three smartphones under its Mate 10 series, i.e the Mate 10, the Mate 10 Pro and the Mate 10 Porsche Design. The Mate 10 sports a 5.9 inches FullView LCD display with QHD resolution. Whereas the Pro and Porsche design comes with 6 inches FullView OLED display with FHD+ resolution. All the three of them are powered by Kirin 970 SoC which comes with dedicated AI processing unit named as NPU (Neural Processing Unit).
On the back, the trio comes with the same set of dual cameras co-engineered with Leica. The setup consists of a 12MP RGB sensor with OIS and a 20MP monochrome sensor without OIS. Both the sensors have a wide aperture of f/1.6 . The fingerprint sensor is below the cameras on the Mate 10 Pro and Porsche Design, but it comes below the display on the regular Mate 10. And all of them run on EMUI 8 based on Android 8.0 Oreo.
The Pro and Porsche Design are IP57 certified, but the regular Mate 10 is only IP53 certified. The trio is backed by a same 4000mAh battery with support for fast charging via Huawei’s SuperCharge technology. The Mate 10 will be available in Mocha Brown, Black, Champagne Gold and Pink Gold color variants. Whereas the Mate 10 Pro comes in Titanium Gray, Mocha Brown, Midnight Blue and Pink Gold.
The Mate 10 comes with 4GB RAM / 64GB ROM and is priced at €699, the Mate 10 Pro comes with 6GB RAM/ 128GB ROM and is priced at €799 and finally the luxurious Porsche Design comes with 6GB RAM / 256GB ROM and is priced at €1,399 .
