The Galax J7 2016 recently got an Android Nougat update in India just some days ago. Now, it’s time for an OTA to roll out to other countries. More specifically, new info shows the update is hitting the model number SM-J710MN of the J7 2016 in Trinidad and Tobago.
The update OTA will pop up on screens with Firmware version number J710MNUBU3BQH and will definitely be more than 1 GB. On a side note, the model number mentioned above belongs to not just Trinidad Tobago but other close regions. Those are Brazil, Venezuela, and other surrounding regions which include Uruguay, Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, and more.
This means that these countries should get the update soon too. Basically, users should check out the model number (SM-J710MN), if it is the same, that’s good news.
Nougat 7.0 takes Android to the next level with features like multi-window, a visual overhaul of the UX, Notification replies, better standby mode with Doze and Vulcan API for graphics. Users should check out their internal storage so that it has at least 2 GB of storage free to download the update.
