Gboard is coming to Wear OS for the first time in years

Google is now bringing the Gboard app for the first time to Wear OS. This will be the first time that the company is bringing an all-new app to its smartwatch lineup. Its motive is to improve communication from the wrist.

Other wearables from Apple and Samsung are quite ahead when it comes to features and convenience. With the coming in of the new app to the smartwatch, Wear OS does not lag. The new keyboard is a massive update to the already existing APK and this is the first time that it is been branded as Gboard on Wear OS. Furthermore, it is a great improvement for those who require a keyboard for replying to messages, searching for new apps, et cetera.

Gboard for Wear OS Features

Google Keyboard for Wear OS comes with a streamlined new design, a full QWERTY keyboard, voice inputs, and gestures. The users can scroll through word suggestions that appear along the top of the keyboard that saves time in typing out the whole sentence. The new keyboard also supports multi-language and the ability to change and add languages by long-pressing the spacebar.

Google has made many announcements for the upcoming updates for Wear OS in 2021. Gboard for Wear OS will soon be available for the supported smartwatches in the coming days.
